Travel & Accommodations

Chico, California Chico, CA
Chico is a university community of 102,000 in northern California. We are a unique blend of rural and urban life that is surrounded by agriculture (almond and walnut orchards) and home to the California State University and its almost 15,000 students. As well as offering extensive shopping, art and cultural events, we boast the third largest urban park in the nation, including its many outdoor and sport activities.

Chico is nestled near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with many tourist stops within easy driving distance, including the scenic Reno/Tahoe district. We are also close to California's wine country, which is centered in Napa Valley. For a detailed look at the Chico area, or to order a complete visitor packet, see the Chico Chamber of Commerce web site at http://www.chicochamber.com.

Getting Here
One of the easiest ways to get to Chico is to fly commercially. Many patients fly directly to the Chico Airport via United Airlines and take a taxi or specialized transportation to their accommodations.
